The first game of the season went pretty well. I know people were worried that the team was not ready, especially after one of the scrimmages, but everyone stepped up, got serious and played hard. The juniors looked really good! I was so nervous that during the team march in, I stepped off the edge of the track and twisted my left ankle. It's sore but it is not going to stop me from kicking!
